I saw The Olllam play at Glasgow’s Cottiers, last night. Great venue for some trad. Irish folk music.
That said, I’ll admit that the main reason to go see “a Transatlantic collective of formidable talent, marrying stunning instrumental virtuosity [and] Irish tradition” was because Joe Dart is their bass player.
I first became aware of him and Vulfpeck just as I was picking up a bass guitar again, and have been a fan ever since.
