I’m a sucker for a good music reaction video. Especially when it’s a song or an artist I love, and those giving their reaction are new to the music.
Don’t get me wrong, I find the majority of reaction videos on YouTube insufferable, but Michael Palmisano is a super-talented guitarist whose opinion I like hearing on a lot of stuff. His reaction to Elliott Smith‘s Behind the Bars popped on my feed recently and is fantastic.
See also his many reactions to Angine de Poitrine: Mata Zyklek, Fabienk, Sarniezz; and his first listen to Radiohead’s Weird Fishes/Arpeggi.
